Wow… I had a friend from Mumbai teach me this recipe… not nearly as complicated as your recipe. Yours sounds very tasty, and I will have to try it. I use lime juice, lemon pepper, garlic, potatoes, paprika, and no salt
I cannot wait to try your recipes! Happy I found you!

thank you so much for posting this recipe. our favorite local restaurant is the indian restaurant, and we always get this as our appetizer. this is one of my husband's favorite "snack" dishes! he will be so happy that we can now make it at home!
Ooooh, this was my favourite dish during my india travels!
Manjula this looks not only delicious and different but is such a highly nutritious snack too. I think that preparing it may be something of a challenge for me as I don't have access to an Indian grocery, so I am going to have to prepare all of the ingredients myself, but I am definitely going to give it a try.
Thank you Aunty Manjula. I'd love to try to make this.
Puffed rice is a breakfast cerial in the US made by the Quaker Company. I couldn't find 'sav', but I found it spelled 'sev' all over.
The perfect snack!! Thx so much Manjula.
your directions are so clear! thank you!
@rajratt I have seen puffed rice on the cereal aisle in Wal-Mart before. Its usually in a clear plastic bag. They keep it on a lower shelf, with the cheap cereals. Good Luck!
Munjula Aunti You are so cool 😀 you make me so happy 😀
u r great majula aunty. love ur dishes
Love this Manjula! But some of the ingredients are too difficult to find. I like when your wonderful recipes are "home made".
Thank you though!!!!!!!
Can you make something that's not spicy Manjula? 😛
@barstowmama You can also find a lot of these items in regular grocery stores. In the international isle. Depending on were you live tho.
🙂
